The final blog post is a choice of activities (please just chose one).:
1. Write a prediction as to what will happen to the character(s) in the next book of the trilogy.
2. Write a letter to the character . Include any questions that you may want to ask the character, provide specific evidence from the novel.
3. Write a letter to the author. Information that could be included.. Where did the author get their ideas? What inspired them to write the novel? Questions that you may have?
4. Finally, chose one of the 3 main characters and write how this character has changed during the course of the novel.
From the beginning of the book, the 3 main characters had changed a lot, exept for Zhanpole becuase he was not with Will and Henry from the beginning. I think Henry changed the most because he changed from being mean to being kind. Also, Will had changed because he got a lot stronger than before.
There are a lot of changes for Henry. When he was in the town, he used to be mean but not now.
I think there are 2 reasons why he changed. First is that after his mom's death, he decided not to be mean. Or he decided not to be mean because he knew that he had to try not to be mean, travelling as one team with Will and Zhanpole. In the book, the only fight was when Will got his dad's watch stolen for a moment and that was it. Also, when Wil woke up after the injury because of the sheep, he first thought that Henry took everything and abandoned him. But when he realized that he foraged for the food and actually cooked food, proves that Henry really changed.
Also, Will had changed. When he was in the town, he was kind of weak and timid so he was always got in a fight with Henry and lost every time. But by this adventure, he got a lot stronger. When he was removing the metal of the Caps from him by knife, he couldn't have endured the pain that he had but as he got stronger, he could have finally endured. Also, he got more braver than before. When he was in the hand of the tripod, (which was the part where I was really anxious whether he was going to be Capped or not) he was brave enough to attack him by throwing the grenade inside the tripod.
In a short form, I can say that Henry changed from being mean to kind and Will, being weak and timid to strong and brave. Even I also wanted to answer #1, which is to predict what you think will happen to the next book of the trilogy. But since I had more to write for #4, I chose this topic as my blog.
